About Us
Highway 125 Marina is a family owned and operated business located on Bull Shoals Lake. Derek bought the marina in 2018 and works every year to attract visitors to the Peel, AR area. He has made additions and improvements every year and hopes to continue increasing visitors annually. Tina joined the marina family in 2022 and immediately started working to expand our store inventory. Together they work to bring visitors and locals the best lake experience possible and hope to become your travel destination for years to come.
Derek was born and raised in the Springfield, MO area. He is an entrepreneur who prides himself on building businesses and making them grow. You will usually see him in the dockside store, around the docks making repairs or updating equipment, or on the docks talking to visitors. In his free time, he likes eating dinner with his family while enjoying our view of the lake.
Tina is a born and raised Texan and enjoys traveling in her free time. She generally works on back office tasks like: ordering inventory and managing the website. You can occasionally see her in the store, usually checking inventory, with a newborn and kids not too far behind.
Aiden is the first born and a true pure soul. Everyone that meets him adores him, constantly telling us how good he is and how hard he works. You will usually see him fishing or lending a helping hand. You might have seen him around the store or at the shaved ice cart this summer.
Laikyn is usually not far behind her big brother and is one of the kindest, most generous girls you will meet. She loves making new friends and playing outside but she is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and offer a helping hand. You will usually see her with an ice cream or shaved ice in her hand, while talking to everyone that comes to the marina.
We welcomed our newborn, Riley in July 2022. She is ready to take off to keep up with her big brother and sister. She is a great baby and loves being outside. You might see her soaking up the sun around the lake, living her best life. She is the missing link to our family and we are thankful for her every day.
